ZEE Radio celebrates one year with new shows

ZEE Radio ��� Dil Se Bollywood, a part of ZEE Network UK, has completed one year on-air and announced a slew of new shows to coincide with the celebrations.

ZEE Radio was launched by Bollywood King, Shah Rukh Khan at the hugely popular ZEE Carnival in 2008. Incidentally the first anniversary was also celebrated at the same event and again in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan who was this time also accompanied by Bollywood stars Irfan Khan, Lara Dutta and Anushka Sharma.

Furthermore, on Saturday 14th February, a party was held at Tiffin Bites in Central London to mark the special occasion, which saw live performances by the likes of Navin Kundra, Bonafide and MC Special.
ZEE Radio, which remains UK�۪s only all-Bollywood radio station, has unveiled a brand new line-up of shows to get listeners closer to the razzmatazz of the Indian film industry.

The schedule changes sees the debut of its live breakfast show called ‘Good Morning London’ with presenters Raj Baddhan (of BizAsia.co.uk fame) and Krish, weekdays at 07:00, featuring the UK�۪s only, daily live Bollywood update directfrom Mumbai in association with ZEE News. Interactive elements such as Bindas Bol (short polls), Choice Active (listeners choose from a selection of songs) and exciting Bollywood contests complement the regular offerings like Weather, Traffic & Travel and a 60 Seconds (news bulletin).

Weekday brunch show ‘Bollywood Beatz’ with Pallavi Pandit, takes the 09:00 ��� 11:00am slot featuring a daily contest titled ��Kal Ke Pal�۪ based on songs and clues from one particular year. Other segments on the show include ��Ubharatein Taarein�۪ which covers star profiles and the live Bollywood update from Mumbai.

On listeners demand, popular romantic show ��Ishq Vishq Pyar Vyar�۪ will air daily at 23:00, which makes it UK�۪s only daily Asian love show.

The station is now available to an even wider audience than before by launching on the Sky Digital UK and Europe platform on Monday 12th January. It is now available 24 hours a day on Sky channel 0215.
