From September, ZEE Punjabi will be extending the hours it devotes to Shabad Gurbani, BizAsia.co.uk can confirm.

Furthermore, the channel will also be adding an extra 30-minute Gurbani slot at 18:30 daily. This means from September, ZEE Punjabi will be broadcasting ten hours per day of Sikh religious programming as a part of its output.

ZEE Punjabi UK/Europe currently is the exclusive broadcaster of the Golden Temple, Amritsar Gurbani and has been since the channel has been available in this territory. However, with main rights holder, PTC Punjabi planning its launch in the UK later this year, the Golden Temple Gurbani will move to their channel.
