ZEE Punjabi to air daily Cricket World Cup show

ZEE Network is going all out with its ICC tie-up. After grabbing the UK and Europe rights for the Cricket World Cup in Hindi for ZEE Cafe, its sister station ZEE Punjabi will also show a special starting this weekend.

The programme titled ‘Pitch Te Mahabharat – World Cup 2011’ will feature news stories from the Cricket World Cup, with former cricketer and coach Desi Prem Azad contributing with cricketing tips.

ZEE Network said, “This 30-minute special sports show ‘Pitch Te Mahabharat – World Cup 2011’ will be a wonderful treat for Punjabis across the globe who eat cricket, live cricket and sleep cricket in other words��_are diehard fans of cricket.”

‘Pitch Te Mahabharat – World Cup 2011’ starts tonight at 19:30 and airs everyday up until the end of the World Cup.
