ZEE Punjabi begins testing on Sky ahead of launch
ZEE Punjabi has commenced testing on Sky ahead of its official launch later this month.
The leading Punjabi entertainment channel launched on Virgin Media earlier in July and will commence official broadcasting on Sky channel 769 from 25th July 2024.
ZEE Punjabi UK will have seven original fictions every Monday to Saturday evening with ‘Choti Jathani’ at 18:00, ‘Khasma Nu Khani’ at 18:30, ‘Gal Mithi Mithi’ at 19:00, ‘Dilan Da Rishete’ at 19:30, ‘Shivika’ at 20:00, ‘Sahajveer’ at 20:30 and ‘Heer Tey Tedhi Kheer’ at 21:00. Comedy show ‘Hasseya Da Halla Paega’ (pictured) will air daily at 15:00.
Movies will air every night at 21:30, while on Sundays, ZEE Punjabi UK will air three movies during the day at 12:00, 18:00 and 21:00.

A ‘Desi Beats’ music show will air every night at midnight until 02:00. The channel will also broadcast religious programming with ‘Amrit Baani’ and ‘Gurbani’ from 04:00 until 09:00 every morning. There will also be Gurbani between 16:00 until 18:00 everyday.

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 11.082 (H), FEC: 5/6, SR: 22000 / DVB-S / QPSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “50362” service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> Click on “50362” to view the channel
