The ZEE Cine Awards is the talk of every film buff at the moment and why shouldn?t it be, this year’s ceremony is being billed as the biggest ever in its eighth year of running.
However, one thing, which may sadden if not anger some ZEE viewers, is that ZEE Network has postponed the TV coverage of the event. The event was due to be shown the following day on Sunday 27th March at 19:30 on ZEE TV but will now be screened at a later date (currently unconfirmed).
The ZEE Cine Awards actually take place on Saturday at Excel Docklands Arena in London and viewers had been anticipating the event on Sunday to see their favourite Bollywood stars perform on British shores. Instead the channel will be showing normal Sunday night programming.
A spokesman for ZEE TV was unavailable at the time to comment on this piece. Biz Asia will keep you posted on when the event will be screened on ZEE TV.
