ZEE Network UK returns to film distribution

ZEE Network UK is planning to return to film distribution later this year, with a number of big movie titles.

BizAsiaLive.com understands that the broadcaster will base itself as an agency, Asia TV Limited and represent films produced by Essel Vision Pvt Limited, as well as Balaji Motion Pictures.

The first film, which the company will release is ‘Rustom’ starring Akshay Kumar. However, the distribution of that film will outsourced to another agency.

ZEE Network UK is also reportedly handling the UK release of ‘A Flying Jatt’ and ‘Half-Girlfriend’.

Previously, ZEE Network UK ventured into film distribution for a short tenure with films like ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and ‘One Dollar Curry’.
