ZEE Network channels boycott India V Pakistan cricket
ZEE Media’s news channels and its publication, DNA boycotted coverage of Sunday’s ICC Champions Trophy match between arch-rivals, India and Pakistan.
In a number of tweets posted by ZEE founder-promoter and Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Chandra, he said that ZEE News, ZEE Hindustan, WION, DNA and other regional news channels under the ZEE belt, will not be broadcasting any news about the match. He added that the move was a gesture of support for the Indian army, who are combating terrorism.
Chandra said that the broadcaster would instead air “stories of actual heroes, who will be fighting for us even when our cricket team will be playing with enemy.” He added that “We can’t be selective in our patriotism where at one end we outrage over Pak actors in our movies and at other hand we play cricket.”

We’ll have the special series for entire Champions Trophy except India Vs Pak. In this match, we’re supporting the Indian Army.
