ZEE Network acquires rights for ‘Don 2’

ZEE Network has acquired the exclusive first TV rights of the upcoming Bollywood blockbuster ‘Don 2’ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

The sequel to the 2006 hit ‘Don’, has been bought by ZEE Network for Rs. 30 Crore, according to Hindustan Times.

The deal was signed last week between producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and ZEE Network bosses.

This is the second huge blockbuster ZEE Network has acquired in recent weeks after walking away with the rights of Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’.

ZEE Network already holds the rights to other blockbusters such as ‘Double Dhamaal’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Kambhakt Ishq’ and ‘Peepli: Live’.

‘Don 2’ is out at cinemas on Wednesday 23rd December.
