ZEE Network acquires Raj Kapoor movie library


ZEE Network has exclusively acquired the Raj Kapoor movie library, which will give the broadcaster access to over twenty superhit movies.

Only last month, BizAsia.co.uk had revealed that ZEE Network will be screening the entire movie library from the Mukta Arts production banner (by Subhash Ghai), with today’s news, the channel has further strengthened its film line-up.

The films under the R.K Films banner will be shown on both ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema. The titles include classic hits like ‘Aag’, ‘Barsat’, ‘Awara’, ‘Aah’, ‘Boot Polish’, ‘Shree 420’, ‘Jagte Raho’, ‘Ab Dilli Door Nahin’, ‘Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai’, ‘Sangam’, ‘Mera Naam Joker’, ‘Kaal Aaj Aur Kal’, ‘Bobby’, ‘Dharam Karam’, ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’, ‘Biwi O Biwi’, ‘Prem Rog’, ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’, ‘Heena’, ‘Prem Granth’ and ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’.

It has not been confirmed when the broadcaster will premiere the movies.
