ZEE Network acquires four big movie titles

ZEE Network has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk that it has bought the rights for four huge movie titles.

The most treasured acquisition of them all is ‘Jab We Met’ starring Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor. The film released by Studio 18 emerged as one of the biggest moneyspinners at the box office this year.

Whilst ZEE Network is yet to announce the telecast time for the movie, it looks likely to get a screening during Valentines month in February.

The broadcaster has also announced it will be showing ‘Dhamaal’ starring Sanjay Dutt and ‘Raqeeb’ starring Jimmy Shergill at Christmas this year.

‘Dhol’ starring Tushar Kapoor is the fourth movie acquired by ZEE Network recently. The movie premiere of ‘Dhol’ will be screened on Saturday 26th January at 20:00.

Popular 90s film titles such as ‘Rajkumar’, ‘Suhaag’, ‘Vijaypath’, ‘Kache Daage’ and ‘Suryavanshi’ will also be shown on ZEE Cinema in January.
