ZEE Music Company to release soundtracks of ‘Gunjan Saxena’ & ‘Shakuntala Devi’

After releasing the soundtrack of ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, ZEE Music Company has announced the acquisition of music soundtracks for the upcoming films, ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and ‘Shakuntala Devi’.

Commenting on this development, Anurag Bedi, Business Head, ZEE Music Company said, “ZEE Music Company has become the largest acquirer of the latest Bollywood Music in the Industry, in the past year, out of the 110 Bollywood films that released, ZEE Music Company acquired the rights of 55. We are committed to deliver on our promise of providing consumers with the latest and best the Bollywood Music industry has to offer even during this pandemic. The first to be released as we begin to adjust to a ‘new normal’ is Gulabo Sitabo, and I am delighted with the response that the music tracks have received. The music has helped to create more buzz for the film.”

He added, “Due to the lockdown, consumers have skewed towards digital with the time spent on digital platforms being at an all-time high. We have witnessed a massive growth in the consumption of our music across platforms like YouTube and other streaming platforms.”

ZEE Music Company recently crossed yet another milestone by completing six years amidst the dynamic landscape of the Indian music industry. Right from its inception in 2014, the music label has carved its niche, publishing over 1,000 songs every year.
