ZEE Media obtains licence to launch news channel, ZEE Bharat

ZEE Media has successfully obtained A licence to launch a new news service by the name of ZEE Bharat, from regulator Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Reports say that ZEE Media will rename its current news service, ZEE Hindustan to ZEE Bharat in the coming days.

ZEE Media has been quick to react to reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is planning to change the country’s name from India to Bharat.
