ZEE India to shutdown Z Living & Living Rootz

ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited has confirmed in a public statement that it will be shutting down Z Living and Living Rootz in India.

The two channels are a part of ZEEL’s subsidiary Living Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. Z Living and Living Rootz will be axed on Friday 28th December 2018. The company has also applied to launch a new channel, Living Travelz, to accompany Living Foodz.

Z Living, which launched in the US, will also be scrapped in international territories on Thursday 31st January 2019. It will fully transition to a digital channel, most likely on ZEE5.

A public notice published by ZEEL said, “Notice is hereby given to viewers/distributors of the channel(s) “Z Living” and “Living Rootz” and all concerned that the transmission and distribution of the aforementioned channels will be discontinued from 28th December 2018.”
