ZEE India launches new channel India 24×7
ZEE Network India has launched its new free-to-air Hindi news channel, India 24×7.
The channel will complement its flagship service, ZEE News. It will reportedly create a family appointment viewing experience. This will be the first channel from the ZEE Media stable without the ��ZEE�۪ prefix.
Vasindra Mishra, Editor of India 24×7 said, ���India 24×7 will choose clarity over aggression, Jankari over sensationalism. It endeavours to offer ��distinctive news�۪ as opposed to breaking news, or sensational news. With our family viewing objective, the flavour of coverage will focus on the positive side of every story and also enliven us through its entertainment quotient. India 24×7 replaces Uttar Pradesh/Uttarakhand-focused regional news channel, ZEE Sangam. It seems ZEE News is getting aggressive in the news genre after it was confirmed that it will be launching its international English news channel in February/March next year.
