ZEE Gujarati launches on Sky Digital

ZEE Network UK’s fifth channel ZEE Gujarati has made its official launch on Sky Digital today, a day later than expected.

ZEE Gujarati is the network’s second regional channel after its ZEE ETC Punjabi (formerly known as Alpha ETC Punjabi), which launched two years ago and has had an overwhelming response.

The Gujarati channel was previously known as Alpha Gujarati but was re-branded ZEE Gujarati earlier this week as ZEE decided to ditch its Alpha brand.

ZEE Gujarati is available on Sky EPG 839 and will be available 24 hours a day. The channel is currently free and is expected to remain like that for a month before it becomes a pay channel.

ZEE Network currently celebrating ten years on air in the UK, will be launching its sixth channel in May. It will be the network’s first news channel called South Asia World (SAW) broadcasting from India. More on SAW soon.
