ZEE Entertainment UK ties-up with Samsung TV Plus in France for ‘Jodha Akbar’ channel
Zee Entertainment UK has announced the launch of ‘Jodha Akbar’, a dedicated single‑IP channel now streaming on Samsung TV Plus in France. This exclusive channel brings the much‑loved historical drama directly to French audiences, marking yet another milestone in Zee’s global expansion strategy.
The deal was executed under the helm of Parul Goel, Business Head of ZEE UK/Europe, whose tenure has seen the broadcaster intensify its competitive stance with distinctive activities and bold strategic announcements. Since taking charge, Goel has positioned ZEE ahead of its rivals, driving innovation across both traditional broadcasting and digital platforms.
‘Jodha Akbar’ builds on the resounding success of Zee One France, extending Zee’s reach by offering audiences a richly produced historical and costume drama that has already enjoyed immense popularity.
Samsung TV Plus, the free ad‑supported streaming service available on Samsung TVs, Galaxy devices and Smart Monitors, provides the platform for this launch, ensuring seamless access to premium entertainment without subscription barriers.
