ZEE Classic to replace ZEE Cafe in UK?

ZEE Network is planning to reposition its ZEE Caf̩ channel with ZEE Classic in the coming weeks, according to industry speculation.

BizAsia understands that ZEE Caf̩ will be branded to ZEE Classic with more vintage shows from ZEE Network’s 20-year old library, plus movies targeting an older audience. Rumours also suggest that the current ZEE News and ZEE Business shows will be phased out and shifted to the soon-to-launch ZEE News channel in June/July.

ZEE Network UK is planning to overhaul its offerings with ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema, ZEE Punjabi continued to be available as premium channels and Zing, ZEE Classic and ZEE News to be the free services.

ZEE Classic is rumoured to launch in June.
