ZEE Cinema UK launches weekend Punjabi movie slot

ZEE Cinema will begin broadcasting Punjabi movies during weekend afternoons, its been confirmed.

The slot kicks off on Saturday 17th July with blockbuster titles ‘Nikka Zaildar’ at 12:45 and ‘Harjeeta’ at 11:30 on Sunday 18th July.

The broadcaster has a number of exclusive movie titles and with this iniative, ZEE Cinema will for the first time air these blockbuster Punjabi films for its UK viewers.

Previously, PTC Punjabi has dominated the Punjabi TV space with its popular Punjabi film strand. Similarly, Utsav Gold has introduced a Punjabi film slot. Recently, a full-fledged Punjabi film channel, Pitaara TV has paved its way in the UK market.
