ZEE Cinema to premiere ‘Agent Vinod’ for Diwali

Asian TV channels are gearing up for their best films and programming in time for Diwali next month.

Earlier this week, BizAsia reported that Sony MAX has scheduled the blockbuster ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ as part of its movies line-up around Diwali in November.

Now, BizAsia can confirm that ZEE Cinema will premiere ‘Agent Vinod’ next month as its big Bollywood premiere. The film starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor did not fare so well at the box office but may do well on TV due to its star cast.

The film revolves around a series of seemingly unconnected events across the world leading to ‘Agent Vinod’ undertaking a globe-trotting mission to discover why his colleague was murdered. It was released in March this year.

‘Agent Vinod’ will premiere on ZEE Cinema UK on Saturday 17th November at 20:30.
