After a gap of a year, the ZEE Cine Awards are returning this month on a much bigger scale, this time being held in Singapore.
The much awaited event is being held on Friday 14th January at Singapore۪s Marina Bay Sands, which will witness an array of stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal among many others.
The most astounding aspect in this edition of ZEE Cine Awards is that the entire ceremony is not being held at a huge outdoor setting but rather indoors in the Sands Grand Ballroom, which is considered to be the largest in South East Asia.
It can hold a capacity of a staggering 11,000 delegates. To accommodate the larger than life set up, the stage is being custom made from scratch in a way that will ensure optimum viewing pleasure from each seat. The building, designed by Moshe Safdie, is grander in scale than anything that has ever been built in Singapore.
The ZEE Cine Awards nominations were announced earlier this week with ‘My Name Is Khan’ leading the nods, followed by ‘Dabbang’, ‘Once Upon Time In Mumbai’ and ‘Rajneeti’.
Last year, the network decided not to hold the ZEE Cine Awards due to the economic climate.
The ZEE Cine Awards will be telecast on ZEE TV UK on Sunday 30th January at 20:00.
