ZEE Network UK has signed an exclusive partnership with Remarkable Events to be the title sponsor for Sandwell & Birmingham Mela from 2017.
This marks the third major brand partnership deal signed since Remarkable Events establishment with the Sandwell & Birmingham Mela.
The UK’s biggest Asian music cultural festival that will be renamed as ZEE Sandwell & Birmingham Mela as part of the deal, will be taking place on 1st and 2nd July at Victoria Park, Smethwick and is set to attract over 70,000 audience.
Danny Singh, Event Director, ZEE Sandwell & Birmingham Mela said: “We would like to welcome ZEE on board as our title sponsor. The ZEE Sandwell & Birmingham Mela is UK’s biggest Asian music cultural festival and we are looking forward to working with ZEE to deliver the event this year and extend our reach to millions via their TV network and talent portfolio. We always ensure that the Mela is the very best summer experience in the UK for the community this year will be more exciting as we bring more highly innovative programming and experiences to the Mela.”
ZEE has strong credentials in entertainment, music and films, including 5 television channels broadcasting in UK and Europe. With a wealth of experience in this space, ZEE is the natural partner for the ZEE Sandwell & Birmingham Mela, and will be showcasing its own talent portfolio at the event as well as bespoke and exclusive broadcast of the event.

The announcement today means that Star TV will no longer be associated with the event, which they have been sponsoring for five years, since 2011.
