ZEE all set to launch fifth channel in UK

ZEE is set to become the biggest Asian TV network in the
UK by adding a fifth entertainment channel to its
current network that already includes ZEE TV, ZEE
Cinema, ZEE Music and Alpha ETC Punjabi.

The new channel is to come from the Alpha brand catering
for the Gujarati community. Called Alpha Gujarati, the
channel’s aim will be to target Gujarati viewers with
the best from homeland.

Alpha Gujarati will become the network’s second regional
language channel in the UK after Alpha ETC
Punjabi. Alpha Gujarati is one of India’s most watched
Gujarati channel and launches in the UK in the first
quarter of 2005.
