ZEE acquires new films for festive season

ZEE Network has acquired a few films to add to its festive line-up of top programming.

As well as Waqt, which Biz Asia exclusively revealed last month, the network will also be screening Lakshya (Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta), Jurm (Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta), Lakeer (John Abraham, Sunny Deol), Bachke Rehna Re Baba (Rekha) and Chameli (Kareena Kapoor).

Waqt will be shown as a Diwali treat on Tuesday 1st November at 20:00 on ZEE Cinema. As an Eid present to its viewers, the channel will also be screening the TV premiere of Kasak in November. Bollywood fans may recall the film was released this past weekend and under a month since its release, the film is being televised on ZEE TV. Kasak stars Lucky Ali and Pakistani actress Meera.
