Zareen Khan on facing her phobia for ‘Aksar 2’

Zareen Khan has opened up about the phobia she had to overcome during the shoot of her next ‘Aksar 2’.

Reported in DNA India, Khan explains she has thalassophobia, someone who is afraid of the sea or sea travel. She also admitted feeling uncomfortable with the idea of touching or being close to sea creatures when in the water, though she is fond of adventure sports.

As the saying goes – there’s no time like the present, Khan had to face her fears when the ‘Aksar 2’ team went out to Mauritius to shoot. “I’m scared of touching creatures in the sea or ocean, so I was slightly sceptical to shoot for a few underwater sequences. My bare feet touched urchins and other creatures found on the sea bed and that experience was quite eerie, but I’m glad I managed to do it.”

‘Aksar 2’ is slated to release on the 6th October and also stars Gautam Rode, Abhinav Shukla and Mohit Madaan.
