One of the leading over-the-top (OTT) content provider, Yupp TV has acquired exclusive online coverage of this year’s Asia Cup, which kicks off later this month.
As a part of the deal, Yupp TV will stream all matches free in Europe (including UK), Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia. However, customers in USA will need to pay $9.99 for the entire series. Users will also have access to ‘catch-up’ of each match until the end of the series.
Asia Cup 2016 starts on Wednesday 24th February with Bangladesh Vs India. The biggest match of the series will be between India and Pakistan on Saturday 27th February. The final will take place on Sunday 6th March.
Last year, the Asia Cup 2016 was broadcast on Life Ok in the UK. However, the broadcaster has confirmed to BizAsiaLive.com that it will not be televising the tournament this year.
