‘YRKKH’ to shift time slot for ‘MasterChef India’?

There’s a lot been reported about Star Plus’ upcoming series of ‘MasterChef India’ with the latest word being that it is likely to take the 21:30 slot.

Viewers of the channel will know that the 21:30 slot has been playing home to Star Plus’ longest running fiction ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. However, a change is said to be imminent. It is unclear whether the change would affect viewers worldwide or just viewers living in the UK.

Sources say that with ‘Veera’ being saved from the axe, it is likely that the channel will shuffle its programming to accommodate ‘MasterChef India’. The popular reality show is set to launch from Monday 26th January 2015.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has been running for the past six years and remains one of the channel’s most popular shows.
