‘YRKKH’ star Karan Mehra arrested after alleged brawl with wife Nisha Rawal

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ star, Karan Mehra has been arrested after an alleged brawl with wife, Nisha Rawal.

Mehra, who has since been released on bail, is said to have hit Rawal during a fight on Monday night. The Goregaon Police have filed an FIR against Mehra under the Indian Penal Code sections 336 (endangering human life or the personal safety others), 337 (causing hurt by an act which endangers human life), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).

Mehra, who had a hugely successful stint in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, has worked in a number of other shows subsequently. He also appeared with Rawal in ‘Nach Baliye 5’.

Earlier, Rawal had refuted rumours of marriage troubles.
