The troubled times at Club Asia sent ripples though the media industry and since then the station’s administrators, Mazars, said that they have received “substantial interest” from potential buyers.

Existing media giants – be it independent or corporate have all been linked to bid for the ailing station. Some of these entrepreneurs will no doubt go in with huge bids as ego and one-upmanship gets the better of them, whereas some, who are seriously interested in turning the station around, could be left in the dark.
