‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ spin-off show ‘Yeh Hai Chahahtein’ delayed

The much talked about spin-off show for the popular Star Plus series ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, tentatively titled ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’ has been on the back-burner for the time being.

The show, which has been riding high in UK ratings for a number of years, has witnessed a dip in ratings in India. However, despite this, the show continues to lead in its time slot in India and thus will remain on-air for the foreseeable future.

‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’, which has been described as a mature love story with the leads playing middle-aged characters, was expected to go on the floors last month but had been pushed back. Now it seems the show will be delayed further as Karan Patel is rumoured to have signed ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, while Anita Hassanandani has reportedly taken up ‘Nach Baliye 9’ with husband, Rohit Reddy.
