Yasmin Karachiwala trains Deepika Padukone for Hollywood debut

Deepika Padukone is soon to mark her debut in Hollywood with ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’, which also stars Vin Diesel. The actress is being trained by Yasmin Karachiwala for the role for which she will begin shooting for in February.

Mumbai Mirror reports Karachiwala saying, “She leaves for the shoot on February 2 and most of her portions will be filmed in Toronto and Los Angeles”.

Padukone has been undergoing intense training daily as Karachiwala reveals, “She has already been pulling off 200 pounds for leg press, but there will be a lot more heavy weight training now, besides bosu (exercise routines involving a ball) and TRX suspension training…��She is an athlete and enjoys the workout”.

Karachiwala also talked about Padukone’s diet and said that it hasn’t changed much. She still eats every two hours. “We have only upped the protein portions a bit,” she said.

Padukone has received much praise for all three of her releases last year – ‘Piku’, ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
