With Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement looming, Yash Raj Films will be cashing in on the huge day by dedicating their popular ‘Dhoom’ franchise song ‘Dhoom Machale’ to the God of cricket.
���The Dhoom team is keen to dedicate it to Sachin, who will be playing his last test series on November 14 onwards at the Wankhede Stadium,� says an insider from the production house.
Mid-Day reports a source saying that the decision was taken by Yash Raj Films. They have already written a letter to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) seeking permission to dedicate the song officially to the cricketing legend. ���Aditya Chopra, Aamir Khan and director Vijay Krishna Acharya are Sachin fans. If they get the nod, then the Dhoom star cast will attend the match as well.�
‘Dhoom 3’ releases next month.
