Yami Gautam says her next film ‘Uri’ is special

Yami Gautam was last seen in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and unfortunately the film didn’t do well at the box office. However, the actress has said her forthcoming film ‘Uri’ is a special one.

“It’s going to be one of the most special films of my career. The way Aditya Dhar has written and directed it and Vicky Kaushal and the entire cast has put in a lot of hard work,” said the actress, as quoted by TOI.

She adds, “Uri is going to be a special film. It is based on a true event which is important not just for me as an actor but even as a citizen… It is something which had to be shown”.

‘Uri’ is scheduled to release in January 2019.
