‘X Factor India’ replacement confirmed on Sony TV

A non-fiction show based on forgiveness will be replacing ‘X Factor India’ when it comes to an end next month, BizAsia.co.uk can reveal.

With the final episode of ‘X Factor India’ to air in the first week of September, new show ‘Dear God – Gunahon Ke Zakhm’ will be taking over the weekend slot from Friday 9th September.

‘Dear God’ features people from all walks of life and their stories…stories of ‘wrong doings’…stories of ‘guilt’…stories of being ‘sorry’.

According to a release by the channel, “The basic theme of every episode is all about a person who has done something wrong in his life which has affected somebody�۪s life and is now guilty and wants to confess his wrong doing and wants to ask for forgiveness. If the person is not forgiven, then a way of redemption which is very close to the story/case will be an alternate to the whole thing.”

‘Dear God’ will be hosted by Tisca Chopra.
