WWE wrestler The Great Khali to make Tollywood film debut

WWE and former ‘Bigg Boss’ star, The Great Khali is set to make his debut in Telugu cinema.

The popular wrestler will be seen in an intense drama, filmed on the back drop of Indo-Pak relations, according to DNA India. The film is called ‘Narendra’ and is directed by Jayanth C. Paranji.

A source told the publication, “When the director met him, he was quite excited about the part offered. He was initially hesitant about working on a film in a new language that he didn’t speak or understand but the assurance of Jayanth pushed him to okay the film.”

Khali featured in ‘Bigg Boss – Season 4’. He also appeared in the film ‘Houba! On the trail of Marsupilami’.
