World Food Network begins Sky EPG testing

Up and coming TV channel, World Food Network has commenced EPG data testing on the Sky Digital platform.

The channel, which was first expected to launch in June had been delayed due to unknown circumstances, leaving many questioning whether the channel was going to launch at all.

World Food Network will broadcast in English, with some programmes in German too. World Food Network will broadcast shows to mainstream audiences in the UK with a show titled ‘Chef At Wars’ looking at the challenge between neighbours India and Pakistan in London.

World Food Network is expected to launch officially on Sky Digital around the middle of this month. BizAsia.co.uk is awaiting confirmation from the channel about the same.

In the meantime, the EPG data testing of World Food Network can be viewed by manually tuning. Details below of how viewers can tune in:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> System Setup (4)
-> Add Channels (4)
-> Enter frequency: 12.560 (H), FEC: 2/3, SR: 27500
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “54066” service and press Yellow button.
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> “54066” should be listed and available
