Work on ‘Raajneeti’ sequel well under way

With news having been reported of Katrina Kaif signing the sequel of ‘Raajneeti’ (2010), it has now been revealed that filmmaker Prakash Jha has started work on the script of the film already.

“I am working on ��Raajneeti�۪ sequel. It is still nascent but it will happen. There has to be a good time to release. It has not been that long anyway. The film released in 2010. I see there are many exciting changes in our political scenario right now. When the story matures, then we will make it,” India Express reported Jha stating.

Where the first film was taking inspiration from the ‘Mahabharat’, it seems the director wants to take a more contemporary approach. News also has it that Priyanka Chopra will be added to the cast list as well.
