Women’s IPL media rights auction set to take place this month

The Women’s IPL media rights are set to be auctioned off on Monday 16th January 2023.

The auction will see interest from broadcasting giants like Disney+ Star, Sony-ZEE and Viacom18, who will submit their bids on the day. It will be a closed process.

BCCI said, “Any interested party wishing to submit a bid is required to purchase the ITT. However, only those satisfying the eligibility criteria set out in the ITT and subject to the other terms and conditions set out therein, shall be eligible to bid. It is clarified that merely purchasing this ITT does not entitle any person to bid. The BCCI reserves the right to cancel or amend the bidding process at any stage in any manner at its discretion.”

The first event is set to take place in March 2023. onwards.
