Witness claims Salman Khan had no licence in hit-and-run case

The hit-and-run case involving Salman Khan has taken another twist today after a witness claimed that he was driving without a licence.

The Indian Express reports that an assistant inspector at Regional Transport Office (RTO) had obtained a driving licence in 2004 only and was driving without a licence when the accident occurred in 2002.

The witness produced the records of the actor�۪s driving license before the court when he was examined by Public Prosecutor Pradeep Gharat.

A sub-inspector also gave evidence in court today who claims he had accompanied Khan to J J hospital for a blood test. The witness said that the actor was taken to doctor Shashikant Pawar for the blood test to find out whether he had consumed alcohol.
