Will Ranveer-Kareena age-gap affect ‘Ram Leela’?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’ will be a love story with a difference. Why? Well,��in what will be a first, it will bring together a much younger hero and an older heroine for a traditional love story. The film will, of course, star Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor and the former could not be happier with his unconventional pairing with the latter.

‘Ram Leela’ is said to be an Indian take on Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’. Talking to the Times of India,��when quizzed about the age-gap of the pairing, Singh has much to say, “Kareena doesn’t look anywhere the age that she is. She looks much younger. And she is going to play my lover”.

The plot of this film will be in contrast to ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ (2012)��in which Kapoor was a little older than her co-star Imran Khan and this age-difference was incorporated into the script.

‘Ram Leela’ is sure to be one to look out for, not only because it will be an interesting take on an ultimate love story but also because the two leads will indeed be breaking the mould.
