Will Deepika Padukone be signed for ‘Dhoom 4’?

With ‘Dhoom 3’ receiving huge box office success, it’s no surprise that rumours of the next ‘Dhoom’ film are doing the rounds.

According to Times of India��the makers of the franchise are thinking of signing on actress Deepika Padukone for the fourth instalment. Though the news is yet to be confirmed, as the actress has had major success with the likes of ‘ Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ (2013), ‘Chennai Express’ (2013) and most recently Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013), it’s only inevitable that she be the first choice for the hot spot role. There were earlier rumours that Shah Rukh Khan would be taking on the male lead for the fourth instalment.

When it comes to sequels, many have failed to carry on the success trend to the respective prequels. However, Yash Raj Films seemed to have pulled off a hat-trick with the ‘Dhoom’ series when it comes to the box office. With Padukone constantly proving herself a powerful actress, she definitely seems like the perfect choice for the role.
