A member of Kapoor’s team commented, “Anil sir has not committed to the project, but he intends to meet the director and writer in Los Angeles in May to take the discussion forward”. The story of ‘The Indian Sherlock’ surrounds a Punjabi character, Vish Puri, and his investigation methods. If Kapoor signs the film, he will be associated with the ‘Sherlock Holmes’Hollywood franchise which has seen much success at the box office in recent years.
