Why did Saif Ali Khan lose out on being part of ‘Talaash’?

Aamir Khan starrer ‘Talaash’ is all set to release on Friday but it has emerged that Saif Ali Khan was also offered the film. This information has been revealed by none other than the new Khan on the block, Kareena Kapoor, who also stars in the film.

Hindustan Times��report Kapoor saying, “Not many know, but Saif too was offered Talaash. Reema (Kagti, director) wanted him in the movie, but his dates didn�۪t work out. He is really excited that I am part of it”.

Speaking about working with Aamir Khan for the second time, Kapoor commented, “He is a great co-star and a great team player. He makes sure his films turn out well. If I could, I would work in all his films”.

One can only wonder how an Aamir-Rani-Kareena-Saif starrer would have worked out… and, that too, in a suspense thriller. One will never know!
