Why Abhishek Kapoor took legal route against Sara Ali Khan

Though her debut stint in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’ (2018) was received very well by audiences and critics alike, it didn’t come without its troubles. The biggest controversy was when Kapoor was compelled to take the young actress to court due to her demands for there to be a delay in its release, in order for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ (2018) to be her debut.

According to a report by Asian Age, Kapoor expressed how Khan did not understand the hardship it took to actually get the film going, where he had even had the film’s release date change so it wouldn’t clash with Shetty’s release.

By the way things have turned out, it all seems to have worked in her favour. Her roles in both films are poles apart and it has been said that ‘Kedarnath’ worked as a perfect debut.
