‘Welcome 3’ to be announced this year?

‘Welcome’ (2007) and ‘Welcome Back’ (2015) delivered the great mix of a rom-com, with leads Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar who played two brothers from the underworld. Rumours suggest a third instalment could be on the cards.

According to Bombay Times, the third instalment was initially pushed back, due to a dispute between director Anees Bazmee and producer Firoz Nadiadwala. Reports suggest the duo fell out because Bazmee had apparently demanded for his full fees a week before ‘Welcome Back’ (2015) was to release.

However, recently it has been said Kapoor has tried to be the peacemaker between the director and producer and convince them for ‘Welcome 3’.

A close source has also indicated that an official announcement for ‘Welcome 3’ will be made this year, including details of the full star cast.
