The channel, which has been available since July 2009 has been broadcasting repeats of ‘Shaadi Show’ for the past few weeks and ratings have also witnessed a dip.

Wedding TV Asia was the first TV channel dedicated to Asian wedding culture but its time has been short-lived.

There has been no reason given for the decision but it recently shutdown the channel on Freesat. It is expected that the broadcaster will now concentrate on its flagship Wedding TV service on Sky. Wedding TV has been broadcasting for four years.
