Wasim Akram & Shoaib Akhtar lead Geo TV’s Ramadan specials

Geo TV has confirmed that it has signed up Pakistan cricket aces Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar for its Ramadan coverage this year.

The auspicious occasion, which gets underway next week, is an important date in the Islamic calendar. Geo TV, like its rivals, has left no stone unturned for its Ramadan transmission.

The cricket legends will be a part of the show ‘Geo Khelo Pakistan’. The two donned the avatars for Maula Jatt and his arch-nemesis Noori Natt, from the 1979 Punjabi cult classic, for Geo channel’s upcoming Ramazan transmission.

Geo TV is available free-to-air in the UK on Sky channel 807.
