‘Waaris’ to replace ‘Santoshi Maa’ on &TV

&TV is set to launch its latest fiction in May, replacing the religious series ‘Santoshi Maa’.

Starting from Monday 16th May, ‘Waaris’ will take the weekday 19:00 slot in India (18:30 in UK). It stars Iqbal Khan, Aarti Singh and Mukesh Khanna.

The show has a Punjabi culture backdrop and will deal with the heirs in families, and how a male child gets more importance when compared to the daughters.

‘Waaris’ starts on Monday 16th May on &TV.
