VJ Kanan Gill opposite Sonakshi Sinha in ‘Noor’?

BizAsia reported over a month ago that Sonakshi Sinha had been signed for ‘Noor’, directed by newbie Sunhil Sippy. It’s now emerged that Kanan Gill, a well-known VJ and stand-up comic, is set to be Sinha’s love interested in the film.

According to Box Office India, the script is a women-oriented one but Gill’s character is an important one. It’s being said that Gill ended up getting the role because his real-life persona is similar to the character he will be seen playing.

Sinha will be seen next in ‘Force 2’, ‘Akira’ and ‘Namastey England’.
