Vivek Oberoi to turn evil once again

Vivek Oberoi has impressed many with his negative roles in the South, including last year’s ‘Vivegam’. One to be thoroughly impressed is director Boyapati Srinu, who has signed him for his next Telugu film. That film will star the popular Ram Charan as its protagonist, and Oberoi as its antagonist.

Mirror reports an source saying, “Boyapati Srinu, believes that Vivek with his presence will make the character look ruthless and menacing. He’s crucial to the plot and the director believes Vivek who has impressed with his performances in films like Company, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Rakht Charitra in the past will do complete justice to the role which is why he has been signed for a sizeable sum.”

The source also added that he had a great on-screen introduction, and it was shot with 2000 junior artistes, saying, “There were people running helter skelter, some being crushed under the wheels of 20-25 cars racing around and clouds of the dust flying around as Vivek appears on screen. It was a great entry,” added the source.”
This casting was confirmed by Oberoi’s official spokesperson.
