Vivek Oberoi to play deadly contract killer Virendra Pratap

Vivek Oberoi celebrated his birthday in Delhi on 3rd September. On the occasion, he confirmed that he will be playing the deadly contract killer Virendra Pratap, directed by a yet to be revealed new director.

To Mumbai Mirror, Oberoi refused to reveal the name of the debutante director, but did confirm his presence in the film, saying, “It is a big budget gangster drama set in the 80’s and 90’s in North India.” Oberoi is flattered by the recognition he still receives from his debut film, ‘Company’,��and a sequel to the film has also been announced, but Oberoi��couldn’t comment as the film is��still in��its early stages.��He said, “I’m flattered that people still remember me as Chandu Bhai from Company and want to see me as a rough, rugged anti0hero. That’s what I will give them.”

Oberoi will be busy with the filming of ‘Great Grand Masti’ throughout October, and will be spending some quality time with his wife and kids beforehand.
